Drug uses
Aphthasol is a treatment for mouth ulcers, it is formulated as paste.
How Taken
This medicine should be applied to an ulcer as soon as it is notified. After using this medicament you need to wash your hands. This medicine needs to be used as long as the ulcers persist, however if not heal the ulcers before ten days of application you need to consult your doctor. If any paste gets into your eyes they should be washed with water right away.
Warnings/Precautions
If you have an allergic reaction to Aphthasol you should notify your doctor. It has not been studied for possible influence to adults or unborn babies, however animal tests didn't indicate any birth defects.
Missed Dose
Apply a missed dose of this medicine as soon as you remember about it, unless it's about time for next dose. In that case apply only next scheduled dose and don't double the dose.
Possible Side Effects
This medicine may eventually cause some unwanted effects, but they should go away after further treatment. If experiencing following side effects, such as burning, stinging, or pain on the part that medicine is applied; inflammation of mucous membranes; diarrhea or nausea you should notify your doctor, especially if those effects persist or become bothersome.
Storage
Store this medicine away from heat, light and from the reach of children. Heat or moisture may cause spoiling of this medicine. Any discarded medicine needs to be kept out of the reach of children.
Overdose
If suspecting overdose seek emergency medical help.
