Bentyl is a relieving medication to cramps or spasms of the stomach, intestines, and bladder.
How Taken
Bentyl should be taken exactly as prescribed by doctor. Not following prescription may cause increase in side effects.
Warnings/Precautions
Your doctor need to be notified of pregnancy or pregnancy plans, and whether you want to stop using this medicine. Rapidly stopping treatment with Bentyl may cause withdrawal side effects such as vomiting, sweating, and dizziness.
Missed Dose
Missed dose may be taken as soon as you remember about it, however if it's about time for next dose then you should not double up the dose to catch up with the schedule.
Possible Side Effects
Confusion or memory loss, constipation, difficult urination, drowsiness and unusual excitement, nervousness, restlessness, or irritability may happen as a side effect of Bentyl treatment.
Storage
Bentyl should be stored at controlled room temperature between 15 - 30°C (59 - 86°F), away from the reach of children.
Overdose
Bentyl overdose symptoms include nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, dilated pupils, hot dry skin, dizziness, dryness of the mouth, difficulty in swallowing. Emergency medical attention is needed.
