Cialis is an prescription tablets for men's erectile dysfunction (ED) treatment.

How Taken

Cialis need to be taken exactly as prescribed. It comes in different doses 5, 10 and 20 mg. Most patients the recommended starting dose is 10 mg. It shouldn't be taken more often than once a day.

Warnings/Precautions

Mixing Cialis with certain other medicines, such as nitrates, alpha-blockers and recreational drugs, may cause sudden blood pressure drop to an unsafe level. It may cause you to become dizzy, faint, or have a heart attack or stroke. You should apply caution when driving or operating heavy machinery while using Cialis. If you are lactose intolerant you shouldn't use Cialis, as it contains some lactose. Additionally grapefruit juice should be avoided during treatment, as this juice can increase your chances to experience undesirable side effects. If you take medications which contains nitrates or nitric oxide or have uncontrolled blood pressure or history of stroke or heart attack you shouldn't take Cialis.

Missed Dose

Missed dose may be taken as soon as you remember about it, however if it's about time for next dose then you should not double up the dose to catch up with the schedule.

Possible Side Effects

Cialis may cause headache, indigestion, back pains, muscle aches flushing and stuffy or runny nose as a side effect. Those side effects usually go away after a few hours. Consult your doctor if side effects bothers you or won't go away.

Storage

Cialis need to be stored at room temperature between 15 and 30°C (59 and 86°F).

Overdose

Standard supportive measures should be applied in case of overdose.

More Information

Your dose cannot be changed without consultation with your doctor. Excessive use of alcohol isn't recommended when using Cialis, because it may increase chances of getting headache, getting dizzy or increase your blood pressure.
