Cleocin T is an acne treatment.
How Taken
Thin layer of Cleocin T should be applied twice a day to affected area. You may use a pledget that comes within the package to apply Cleocin T. The pledget may only be used once.
Warnings/Precautions
Clindamycin has been reported to appear in human milk, so caution is needed when using Cleocin T while pregnancy or breast feeding.
Missed Dose
Missed dose should be applied as soon as remembered, unless it's about time for next dose. If so next scheduled dose should be applied, and doses shouldn't be doubled to catch up.
Possible Side Effects
Side effects of Cleotin T include abdominal pain and gastrointestinal disturbances, as well as gram-negative folliculitis. Occasionally it may happen that usage of Cleocin T may cause severe colitis which may end fatally.
Storage
If the seal is broken the pledget shouldn't be used. All liquid dosage forms should be kept in tightly closed containers out of the reach of children.
Overdose
Cleocin T may cause a systemic effects when applied topically. Emergency medical help may be needed when suspecting overdose.
More Information
It is not recommended to use neuromuscular blocking agents along with Cleocin T.
