Drug Uses
Diprolene AF Cream is a relievant medicament for inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses in patients older than 13 years.
How Taken
Thin layer of Diprolene AF should be applied once or twice a day, however not more than 45 grams a week.
Warnings/Precautions
This medicament should be used exactly as prescribed and no longer. It is for external use only, and contact with eyes should be avoided. This medication is meant to be taken only for the disorder it was prescribed to. Skin area that has been treated shouldn't be bandaged or wrapped.
Missed Dose
Missed dose should be applied as soon as remembered, unless it's about time for next dose. If so next scheduled dose should be applied, and doses shouldn't be doubled to catch up.
Possible Side Effects
Diprolene AF could eventually cause signs of skin atrophy, such as telangiectasia, bruising, shininess.
Storage
Diprolene AF should be stored in temperatures varying between 2 and 30°C (36 and 86° F).
Overdose
Diprolene AF may cause a systemic effects when applied topically. Emergency medical help may be needed when suspecting overdose.
More Information
Diprolene AF Cream shouldn't be used in patients which have hypersensitiveness to betamethasone dipropionate, other corticosteroids, or any ingredients of this medication.
