Drug Uses
Dovonex Cream is a treatment for plaque psoriasis.
How Taken
Thin layer of Dovonex should be applied to affected area twice a day and it should be rubbed in completely.
Warnings/Precautions
Usage of this cream may cause irritation of lesions and surrounding skin. If such effect occurs you should discontinue using this medication. This medication should be used only for the disorder it was prescribed for.
Missed Dose
Missed dose should be applied as soon as remembered, unless it's about time for next dose. If so next scheduled dose should be applied, and doses shouldn't be doubled to catch up.
Possible Side Effects
Most frequent side effects of Dovonex include skin irritation, rash, pruritus, dermatitis and worsening of psoriasis.
Storage
Dovonex shouldn't be freezed. It should be stored at room temperature of 15 to 25°C (59°F -77°F).
Overdose
Dovonex may cause a systemic effects when applied topically. Emergency medical help may be needed when suspecting overdose.
More Information
This medication should be used exactly as prescribed. It's for external use only. Avoid contact of Dovonex with face or eyes. You should wash your hands after application.
