Elimite is a treatment for mange.
How Taken
Elimite needs to be rubbed into body, from soles to feet. Normal treatment require 30 grams of Elimite, that should be washed off after eight to fourteen hours. Elimite cannot be applied to open wounds, because it may cause too much medication to be adsorbed. Elimite passes into breast milk, so if you are breast feeding you should let your doctor know about it.
Warnings/Precautions
Elimite cannot be applied to nose, mouth or eyes, in such cases the affected areas need to be washed up with large amount of water. Sexual contacts has to be avoided while continuing treatment with Elimite.
Missed Dose
Elimite is taken only once, so it's not possible to miss a dose.
Possible Side Effects
You may experience itching, burning or rash when using Elimite, and you should notify your doctor about it.
Storage
Elimite need to be stored out of the reach of children at temperatures of 15° to 25°C (59° to 77°F).
Overdose
Excessive usage may cause irritation or erythema. Emergency medical treatment may be needed when suspecting overdose.
More Information
You should wash all clothing, hats, bed linens, hair brushes or combs to prevent reinfection.
