Drug Uses

Eurax is a treatment for scabies and itching.

How Taken

Eurax need to be well shaken before applying. Apply thin layer of lotion to all affected body parts, onto dry skin and rub it in well. Medication need to be left alone for 24 hours and then applying a second dose without washing. Medication need to be thoroughly washed after 48 hours of last application.

Warnings/Precautions

This medication shouldn't be taken more than prescribed, and it should be avoided to apply the medication to mouth, nose or eyes. Wash all clothes, hats, bed clothes and linens, hair brushes and combs to prevent reinfection.

Missed Dose

Eurax need to be taken in two doses, between 24 hours. If you miss second dose you should consult your doctos, as retreatment may be needed.

Possible Side Effects

Only side effect that may occur is allergic reaction, and in this case you should seek emergency medical attention.

Storage

Eurax need to be stored away from moisture or heat in room temperature.

Overdose

If you happen to ingest Eurax you should seek emergency medical attention. Symptoms include burning feeling in the mouth, throat and stomach, nausea and vomiting.

More Information

If the medication happen to get into eyes, nose or mouth you should use large amount of water to flush it.
