Drug Uses
Microzide is a treat for edema and high blood pressure.
How Taken
Microzide should be taken early in the day with milk or food to avoid stomach pains.
Warnings/Precautions
If you had previous history of certain conditions, such as: gout, diabetes, liver problems, urinary problems, any allergies you should notify your doctor about it.
Missed Dose
Missed dose should be taken as soon as remembered, unless it's about time for next dose. If so next scheduled dose should be taken, and doses shouldn't be doubled to catch up.
Possible Side Effects
Microzide may cause some side effects, such as: black, tarry stools, blood in urine or stools, cough or hoarseness, fever or chills, joint pain, lower back or side pain, painful or difficult urination, pinpoint red spots on skin, skin rash or hives, stomach pain with nausea and vomiting, unusual bleeding or bruising, yellow eyes or skin. If those effects become bothersome you should stop taking Microzide and consult with your doctor.
Storage
This medicine should be stored in a dark, dry place, in temperature below 30°C (86°F), out of the reach of children.
Overdose
If overdose is suspected, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of overdose may If you experience unconsciousness, nausea/vomiting, weakness, slow or shallow breathing, dizziness, confusion, unusually slow heartbeat, seizures, drowsiness, or fainting then it may mean that you have overdosed Microzide. You should seek emergency medical attention.

Microzide may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision, so caution should be applied when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities, eventually you may avoid these activities.
